Chain Braid Updo~ my look for today

Good morning everybody,

I hope you are having a beautiful day. This morning I tried an updo with chain braid accents~ some people call this a snake braid but I don't like that name very much (maybe because I don't like snakes!)

I washed my hair last night, so it was still wet this morning when I fixed my hair. Anyway, here are some pictures:

Dutch braid, hairclips

Side Dutch Braid w/ Blue Jewel Hairclips

Hey everybody!

I've been off-island for a week and away from my computer, but I'm back again :-) My time on a little island close to the equator was amazing~ here is a beautiful sunset picture I took one evening:

I love these turquoise blue hairclips and used them to dress up a simple side Dutch braid hairstyle:

lace braid, low bun

One-Side Lace Braid (Swoop Braid)

Hello everybody,

Here are some pictures of a look I've found very easy but pretty, too~ a swoop braid :-) It's actually just a lace braid on one side of my hair. I comb the other side of my hair smooth and put the length of my hair into a low bun. I'll post two versions of this look~ one from the first time I tried it out, and another from today. accent braids, low bun

Layer Bun & Braids~ my look for today

Hi again :-)

After my earlier post from today Micronesian Girl~ Spiral Braids, these pictures seem rather anti-climactic. But instead of waiting till later, I'll go ahead and post them now. Who knows what other looks I may want to post a few days from now...

My bun is actually just a spiral or cinnamon bun, but instead of leaving it sticking straight out I folded it back down against the back of my head and held it in place with matching hairclips on either side. The top part of my hair is two lace braids and three English accent braids~ no "before" planning, really, it just turned out this way :-)
