Dutch Christmas Braids

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Today I wanted to make a star-themed hairstyle, but I ended up making these three Dutch braids with a braided bun.  My key to keeping my hair up all day: put your hair in a ponytail before making your bun, and when you start your bun add a clip.  Then when your hair is all wrapped up, add your next clip to the outside of your bun.  This "one clip in and one clip out" trick always works for me.

Triple French Braids

My center mohawk braid looked just as good the second day, so I added a French braid on either side to create my hairstyle for today.

Undercover Mohawk Braid

Hi friends,

I tried a look that I had seen on Pinterest.  First I made a narrow mohawk French braid in the center, then I took the hair on each side to make a loose French braid on top of my mohawk braid.  It looks different from the original, but I like the overall effect.  Thanks for following my blog!

Boho-Chic Updo

Hi friends,

Thank you for following my hairstyle blog!  Today I made a small mohawk French braid and added a small English braid on either side.  Then I put my hair into a high ponytail which I loosely gathered into a bun.  Sometimes it's nice to have a more casual, less complicated hairstyle.
