Thanksgiving Day 'Do~ with Indian hair feathers and a center Mohawk braid

Happy Thanksgiving!  Today I added an Indian flare to my side fringe~ feathers :-)  I also made a full Mohawk braid with the center section of my hair.  I love this hairstyle and will definitely wear my hair like this again...

"End of the day and still okay!"

Hey everyone,

I added two small French braids on each side of my original cornrow French braids from yesterday, and was good to go!  It's the end of the day and everything still looks okay~ that's what I love about this kind of hair'do.

Low Ponytail for Super Long Hair

Hi everybody,

I have never watched Game of Thrones, but I love the hairstyle photos from the show!  I tried my hand at a popular GOT hairstyle today and added a low ponytail option for really long hair.  If you have hair like mine, you know it is next to impossible to wear it down or in a ponytail.  But if you want to show a little length, here is a great way to do it!

After making the top French braids, I put all my hair into a low ponytail.  I braided the ponytail about 2/3 of the way down, and fastened it with a ponytail holder.  I wrapped the braid up into a bun and used my Grahtoe hair fork to hold it in place.  I left the bottom unbraided section hanging down my back~ a shortened version of my original ponytail.

Beehive Hairstyle for Super Long Hair

Hello friends,

Yesterday I wanted to try a simple-but-still-fancy hairstyle, so I pinned up a poofy section with the front part of my hair closest to my face.  I put all of my hair into a mid-low ponytail, and was planning on wrapping everything up into a bun.  I wasn't looking in the mirror, and when I checked to see the result one section of my bun had spread out over the bobby pins on top of my head.  I liked the look of this big wavy bun~ it reminded me of an imitation beehive~ so I clipped everything in place and was ready for the day :-)

I love big buns and beehive hairstyles!

My look for today~ French Braid w/ Side Bun

Hello from the islands!

It's so good to be back home again where the weather is warm, the sun is shining, and the flowers are always blooming :-)  Today (actually yesterday by now) my look was a simple French braid with the top section of my hair and a side braided bun.  I did not make an actual part, which gives this hairstyle a more casual, wavy look~
