My birthday hairstyle

Hello everybody,

Thank you so much for all your views and kind comments! I think my last post with the purple hibiscus was one of my favorite hairstyles yet! Pinterest can be time-consuming but it certainly is an amazing source of ideas.

     Today is my birthday, so I'll post some hair pictures of my look for today.  It is a French braided hairband added into a sideways French braid.  I made a side bun and was ready to head out the door to the beach :-)

Hairband Braid

Hi everybody, 

Today my sister added a small English braid as a headband, then made a low cinnamon bun.  She really knows how to use her hair sticks!  Such a pretty hairstyle~

My look for today~ French braided headband

Happy Monday :-)


Today I made a simple French braid headband with a slightly-messy braided bun~ "messy" because I made my bun without looking in a mirror using the only bobby pins and hair clips I had at the time. I was in my office at the time~

6-strand hairband~ version 2

Hello everybody,

I liked the 6-strand hairband braid so much that I tried it again, this time with a bigger poofy bun.  I really liked how the smooth ends of my poofy rope braid outlined the outer edge of the bun.  Thank you for stopping by to see my pictures!
