Fishtail Bun with Flower Accent

Hello everyone,

I hope you had a beautiful Sunday like I did!  Today I made a circle part and braided a wrap-around lace braid.  Then I made a fishtail bun with the hair in the center of the circle.  I had left out a small section of hair which I braided and made into a flower accent.  Everything is held in place with a lot of bobby pins!

Sunny Day Braided Bun (w/ jewel butterfly clips)

Hey everyone,

Thank you for following my blog!  I watched Lilith Moon's new video on her hair story~ it was so interesting!  She makes such wonderful Youtube hair tutorials, I love them all!  I think I started to follow her soon after she uploaded her first videos, around the time I began my own efforts to take better care of my hair.  I'm so glad I discovered Lilith's Moon's channel!  Be sure and look her up on Youtube, if you haven't subscribed to her channel already.  She is the best :)

And now for a few sunny morning hairstyle pictures of my own~ I love my jewel butterfly clips!  This is basically two lace braids, and the bun is a fishtail braid and the ends of my lace braids.  I like the swirly look that the bun has~

Conch Shell Hairstyle

Hello friends,

Thank you for all your views and comments!  Today I made a loose hairband fishtail braid, then wrapped it around a side bun made out of another fishtail braid.  The look reminds me of a seashell, so I'll borrow the name of a popular braided hairstyle that I see a lot on the internet.  My version of a conch shell braid:

Chimney Rock Updo

Hi everybody!

I'm still traveling around so it's taken me a few days to post new pictures.  On Saturday we climbed to the top of Chimney Rock in North Carolina.  The view was so beautiful~ the fall leaves are at their peak of color!  I actually got some hair pictures taken before we climbed the mountain.  I'll include a few pictures of the view and the colorful scenery~ so pretty!
