Double 4-strand French braids

Hi everyone,

Today I made a center part (I won't call it straight because I have a hard time making truly straight parts!)  Then I braided two 4-strand French braids.  They have the French look on one side and the Dutch look on the other side, which I think is so neat.  I wrapped the ends of my braids into a big bun.  Thank you for coming by to see my pictures!

Double Dutch Braids

Hello friends,

I tried the double Dutch braid look again today, although they are not quite up to Lilith Moon's standards in her Facebook post from today.  The two hair experts that I love to follow are Lilith Moon, of course; and Raychel Potter, author of my favorite braid book ever, A Different Approach to Hairbraiding.  She has a Facebook page as well, https://www.facebook.com/raychelsway, which she keeps updated with inspiring pictures.  So many new ideas to try and techniques to learn!

Double Braids

Hello friends,

I hope you have a fun week-end!  Yesterday I fixed my hair in this fun, every-day hairstyle - 2 French braids divided by a zig-zag part.  This hair-do makes such nice braid waves, which is always a bonus!

Blonde Lace-Braids Updo

Hello friends,

Here is such a pretty hairstyle from my sister~ she made a center part, then two lace braids with hair gathered from the center-back rather than the sides.  She finished this look off with a braided bun wrapped around her hairsticks.  Very classy!

Micronesian Girl~ Fancy Double Braids
