Knotted Headband Braid

Hi everybody,

Today I tried again to do the "take-2-strands-and-knot-them" braid, and I actually managed to make this braid as a headband.  Why is it that knotting 2 strands can be so much harder than braiding four or five strands?  I added the smaller French braid for interest.  Thank you for following my hair posts!

(but more in keeping with the actual temperature here...)

Christmas Bun

Hello everyone,

Merry Christmas!  It is December 2nd, and I tried to make my hairstyle for today look Christmas-y with a red jewel clip and a criss-cross bun.  My bun is a four-strand braid, which makes it look a little more "frilly" in my opinion.  Of course, French braids are always fun :-)

Waist-length French braid for super long hair

Hi everybody,

Thank you for stopping by to view my new post!  I got tired of always wearing my hair up in a bun, so today I decided to wear it down in a braid.  But since the full length of my braid is just above ankle-length, I made some adjustments so I could wear it at waist-length instead.  After securing the end of my braid with an elastic band, I brought it back up the length of my braid and clipped it in place with a hair clip.  This look has lasted all day long without falling down.  I love this waist-length option, perfect for super long hair and a great alternative to a bun.  (I love my new Frozen shirt, too!)
If you are on Tumblr, Pinterest or Facebook, remember to click on the tabs above and follow me there, too.  Thank you!

Woven French Braids

Hi friends,

Yesterday I made a center waterfall braid, but left hair out of both sides.  Then I added the hair from the left into another French braid on that side, and the hair from the right into a third French braid on that side.  All three braids look woven together, in a look that is actually easy to create!
